I am a firm believer in slow design, a deliberate counterpoint to the influx of disposable, cheaply made objects. Everything I do is underpinned by the same ethos: taking a considerate, detailed approach to create timeless, effortless, long-lasting pieces.
I love getting to know how people live, then creating designs and objects exactly right for them.
My career began as a furniture maker in Germany, crafting timber pieces for high-end companies like Wiedemann Werkstätten. I completed a degree in Interior Design at RMIT University, Melbourne, receiving first-class honours, before taking up a range of design and project management roles in residential and commercial architecture, including for Carr Design.
